Peter und seine Schwester Poppy wurden von einer Tante der rumänischen Tierschützerin Cristina auf einem Feld neben ihrem Haus gefunden. Peter wächst jetzt im privaten Shelter von Cristina mit anderen ausgesetzten Welpen auf. Bedauerlicherweise hat der kleine Mann im Shelter keine Möglichkeit, Erfahrungen und Eindrücke außerhalb seiner begrenzten Umgebung zu sammeln. Menschen findet er zwar nett, ist im Umgang mit ihnen aber noch etwas skeptisch. Mit anderen Hunden und auch Katzen hat er keinerlei Probleme. Es wäre schön, wenn Peter bald in ein Zuhause oder auf eine Pflegestelle ziehen könnte, damit er seine Prägephase in einem abwechslungsreichen Umfeld mit liebevoller, konsequenter Anleitung und Erziehung verbringen könnte. Peter wurde Anfang Mai geboren und wird voraussichtlich klein bleiben.
