Hello, I'm Picota! They found me tied to the door of a house... no one knew where I came from, only that I had been left there, without a word. The local police came to get me and since then I've been waiting for someone to really see me... I was named Picota because of my little eyes, because I had a prolapse in my tear glands - what some call "cherry eye". But don't be scared, it happens to many young dogs and it can be treated. They say I'm a sweetheart and with that look that asks for affection without saying a single word. I just want a home where they don't tie me... but embrace me.

¡Hola, soy Picota!Me encontraron atada en la puerta de una casa… nadie sabía de dónde venía, solo que me habían dejado allí, sin una palabra. La policía local vino a buscarme y desde entonces estoy esperando que alguien me vea… de verdad. Me llamaron Picota por mis ojitos, porque tenía un prolapso en las glándulas lagrimales —lo que algunos llaman “ojo de cereza”—. Pero no te asustes, nos pasa a muchos perros jóvenes y se puede tratar. Dicen que soy un amor y con esa mirada que pide mimos sin decir una sola palabra. Solo quiero un hogar donde no me aten… sino me abracen.
