I am Pippi (around 3.5 years old) and a cuddly feline looking for a loving home suitable for apartment living. I came from a rescue operation and was supposed to only be neutered and returned to my feeding station. However, when it was discovered at the animal shelter that I have glaucoma and my lens is slightly displaced, I was allowed to stay at the animal shelter 😻 I need eye drops every day, which I take without any trouble, and I must currently come in for a check-up every three months. So far, everything looks good. If that changes and I lose my eye, they told me I wouldn't be the first cat to adapt well to that, Frech! In the group room, I haven't found any permanent friends yet, but I get along with most of them if they aren't too pushy – somehow, everyone wants to sniff me. Due to my small handicap, a free run around the house, as before, isn't possible for me, but that's not so bad because I prefer the indoor space at the animal shelter – especially on bad weather days. In my new home, I would be happy with an enclosed balcony so I can get a fresh breeze. ich bin Pippi (ca. 3,5 Jahre) und eine zärtliche Kuschelkätzin auf der Suche nach einem liebevollen Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung mit Balkon. Ich komme aus einer Fangaktion und sollte eigentlich nur kastriert werden und wieder zurück an meine Futterstelle kommen. Als man im Tierheim jedoch festgestellt hat, dass ich ein Glaukom habe und meine Linse etwas verlagert ist, durfte ich im Tierheim bleiben 😻 Mit meinem Äuglein brauche ich jeden Tag Augentropfen, die ich mir ohne Probleme geben lasse und muss derzeit alle 3 Monate zur Kontrolle. Bisher sieht soweit alles gut aus. Sollte sich das ändern und ich mein Auge verlieren, wäre ich nicht die erste Katze, die damit sehr gut zurecht kommen wird, hat man mir gesagt 😹 Hier im Gruppenraum habe ich noch keine festen Freunde gefunden, komme aber mit den meisten gut zurecht, wenn sie nicht so aufdringlich sind – irgendwie wollen alle an mir schnüffeln, FRECH! Durch mein kleines Handicap ist Freigang, so wie früher, für mich nicht möglich, aber das ist nicht so schlimm, denn auch im Tierheim bin ich lieber im Innenraum – besonders bei schlechtem Wetter. In meinem neuen Zuhause würde ich mich über einen abgesicherten Balkon freuen, damit ich mir ein frischen Lüftchen um die Nase wehen lassen kann. Meine Menschen sollten gut kraulen können, da ich es liebe beschmust zu werden und meine neue Partnerkatze, im passenden Alter, sollte auch eher ruhig und entspannt sein ❤️ Wenn ihr mich gerne kennenlernen möchtet, meldet euch!
