P OLAR 41291 (POA) – SENIOR - male dog, neutered, born ca. 2010, shoulder height ca. 50cm POLAR lives with a small pack of male and female dogs on the premises of the animal shelter, therefore we can currently say nothing about his leash behavior. He is a friendly, calm doggy grandpa, whose age is already somewhat visible in his gait. But he wants to be everywhere, follows us, and wants cuddles and treats. He seeks contact with us, not overly enthusiastically, but still friendly and cheerful, as befits an older (old) gentleman. Due to his living circumstances, he is also more accustomed to strangers/visitors than other animal shelter residents. It would be beautiful for him if he could spend his twilight years in his own home. (04/2026, B/C) Addition: the TH has placed a small bed on the premises for him, where he was lying when we arrived in the morning.

P OLAR 41291 (POA) – SENIOR - Rüde, kastriert, geb ca. 2010, Schulterhöhe ca. 50cm Polar lebt mit einem kleinen Rudel mit Rüden und Hündinnen auf dem Hof des Tierheims, daher können wir momentan nichts über seine Leinenführigkeit sagen. Er ist eine freundlicher, ruhiger Hunde-Opa, dem man sein Alter schon ein wenig am Gangbild ansieht. Aber er möchte überall dabei sein, folgt uns, will gern Streicheleinheiten und Leckerlis. Er sucht den Kontakt zu uns, nicht überschwänglich, aber doch freundlich und fröhlich, wie es sich für einen älteren (alten) Herrn eben gehört. Aufgrund seiner Lebensumstände ist er auch eher an Fremde/Besucher gewöhnt als andere Tierheim-Insassen. Es wäre zu schön für ihn, wenn er seinen Lebensabend in einem eigenen zuhause verbringen könnte. (04/2026, B/C) Zusatz: das TH hat ihm ein kleines Bett auf den Hof gestellt, in dem er lag, als wir morgens eintrafen.
