Ricky: Meet Ricky. This handsome fellow was roaming the streets alone, not far from the home of one of Zante Strays' volunteers on Zakynthos. That proved to be his luck, as after a few days of doubt, they had no hesitation in taking him in as a foster family. What turned out? Ricky is an incredibly sweet, gentle young dog who wants nothing more than to win people's hearts. Ricky is all set to pack his bags and start looking for a warm home where he can stay forever. Ricky was born around September 10, 2024, and weighs about 29 kilograms. Taking Ricky in with the option of adoption is also possible. Ricky (Rusty in his passport) is an incredibly fine, easy-going male, who you will close in your heart from the first moment. He loves people, walks nicely and calmly on a leash, and has a very soft, friendly character. Under his somewhat tough exterior, lies a sweet, gentle nature. Because Ricky's foster family has moved to the mainland, he has been staying in the Zante Strays shelter for some time now. Ricky gets along well with both males and females. (The video shows Ricky with energetic Labrador male David). At a first meeting with a dog, he looks up the tree for a moment; he is then waiting and sometimes a bit submissive. Ricky is absolutely not a fighter or confrontation seeker. Even when another dog reacted fiercely to him over food, Ricky chose to take a submissive stance and avoid any conflict. Ricky loves to be around people. He first checks if you have good intentions. Once he knows you, he is very affectionate. In short, Ricky is a fantastic dog, who is ready to become someone's best friend. He deserves to be seen for who he really is: a loyal, sweet dog. Het verhaal van Ricky: Maak kennis met Ricky. Deze knappe vent struinde helemaal alleen rond op straat, niet ver van het huis van één van een vrijwilligers van Zante Strays op Zakynthos. Dat bleek zijn geluk, na een paar dagen twijfelde ze geen moment meer en nam hem in huis als gastgezin. Wat bleek? Ricky is een ontzettend lieve, zachte jonge hond, die niets liever wil dan de harten van mensen veroveren. Ricky is helemaal klaar om zijn koffers te pakken en op zoek te gaan naar een warm thuis waar hij voor altijd mag blijven. Ricky is geboren rond 10 september 2024 en weegt ongeveer 29 kilo. Ricky opvangen met optie op adoptie is ook mogelijk. Ricky (Rusty in zijn paspoort) is een ontzettend fijne, easy-going reu, die je vanaf het eerste moment in je hart sluit. Hij is dol op mensen, loopt keurig en rustig mee aan de lijn, en heeft een heel zacht, vriendelijk karakter. Onder zijn enigszins stoere uiterlijk, schuilt een lieve, zachtaardige inborst. Ricky vindt het heerlijk om bij mensen in de buurt te zijn. Hij kijkt wel eerst even of je goede bedoelingen hebt. Kent hij je eenmaal, dan is hij heel aanhankelijk.
