Het verhaal van Robbie: Robbie is aan het eind van het toeristenseizoen 2024 gevonden. Als kleine pup liep hij in zijn up en hij was natuurlijk harstikke bang. Nergens een moederhond of broertjes of zusjes te bekennen. De lieve toeristen hebben Robbie naar de shelter van Zante Strays gebracht en daar heeft hij een tijd gezeten. Totdat wij hem in het oog kregen. Zo'n leuke hond, daar moet toch een baasje voor te vinden zijn? We hebben hem onlangs naar Nederland kunnen halen en hij verblijft nu bij een gastgezin in Westzaan. Samen met de 2 honden van het gastgezin en het gaat harstikke goed. Robbie is geboren rond 29 augustus 2024. Robbie is een schatje. Hij is net zo lief is als dat hij knap is. Robbie heeft heerlijke flappers en prachtige zwart omrande ogen. Zijn handelsmerk inmiddels. Robbie met de kohlogen 😉 Hij lijkt iets te hebben van een Beagle, met een beetje Basset, maar zeker weten we dit natuurlijk niet. Robbie doet het harstikke goed in het gastgezin. Met de andere 2 rescuehonden van het gastgezin, speelt en ravot hij heerlijk in de tuin. Samen op de grote hondenbank liggen, is ook feest. We noemen ze gekscherend de 3 Musketiers. Wandelen aan de lijn doet Robbie als een zonnetje. Hij vindt het heerlijk om te snuffelen. Af en toe observeert hij de boel even, om vervolgens op zoek te gaan nieuwe plekjes en geurtjes. Naar andere honden die hij tegenkomt, reageert hij prima. Met de vrouw des huizes vindt hij het heerlijk te kroelen en bij haar te liggen. De man des huizes vindt Robbie heel spannend. Bij ander mannen die op bezoek komen bij het gastgezin is de spanning iets minder maar ‘het houdt niet over'. Mannen die hij tijdens de wandeling tegenkomt, is geen probleem. Daar reageert Robbie niet op. Bij nieuwe mensen kijkt hij even de kat uit de boom maar als hij zijn eigen moment kan bepalen en denkt ‘goed volk', gaat het prima. Robbie is helemaal zindelijk.
