Rocco Bella

Beagle · Unknown

Bella & Rocco – Looking for a New Home Together Bella Bella is a 3-year- female tri-colour Beagle Bella is crate trained but not yet housetrained. She can be left for around three hours and is not used to travelling. She pulls on lead and is not currently suitable for off-lead exercise. She is not described as an escape artist from a secure garden. She has shown no aggression towards people or other dogs and is described as friendly when meeting dogs. She can be possessive over bones around other dogs, so this would need sensible management. Bella cannot live with cats, as she will bark at them. Bella enjoys ball games and food games. She can become anxious around the tumble dryer and some electrical equipment. Rocco Rocco is a 4-year-old male tri-colour Beagle Rocco is housetrained and crate trained. He can be left for up to three hours and travels well. He is not currently allowed off lead. He is not described as an escape artist from a secure garden and is not destructive. Rocco has shown no aggression towards people or other dogs. He is very friendly with dogs, both on and off lead, and loves their company. He can live with another dog. He is, however, possessive over bones, so these should be managed appropriately. Rocco cannot live with cats as he will bark at them. He is reported to be good with children of any age. Rocco enjoys food-finding games and playing fetch, and happily brings the ball back. He dislikes having a bath but loves going into water of his own accord. Bella & Rocco’s Ideal Home Bella and Rocco are looking for a home together, where they can settle into a stable routine and receive the time, care and training they need. Their new owners will need to be prepared for Bella’s lack of housetraining and both dogs’ tendency to pull on lead, as well as their possessiveness over bones. They would benefit from continued positive training and secure areas for exercise, as neither is currently considered reliable off lead. These two would need to be kept together, this will give them the familiarity and companionship of having each other as they settle into their new home.

About Rocco Bella

What life with Rocco Bella looks like

Rocco Bella is an adult beagle dog waiting at The Beagle Welfare Scheme in United Kingdom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rocco Bella, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rocco Bella?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. The Beagle Welfare Scheme handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rocco Bella on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rocco Bella if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — The Beagle Welfare Scheme will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Rocco Bella already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rocco Bella isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with The Beagle Welfare Scheme early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rocco Bella and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
