"Hallo" zegt Rocky voorzichtig, "zien jullie mij?" 🥹 Rocky is afkomstig uit Spanje, waar hij samen met zijn moeder, broers en zusjes op straat is gevonden. Via een andere Nederlandse organisatie is hij bij in een gezin terechtgekomen, waar met alle goede bedoelingen voor hem werd gezorgd. Helaas kreeg Rocky daar onvoldoende rust en slaap, wat ervoor zorgde dat hij steeds gevoeliger werd voor prikkels en uitvalgedrag begon te laten zien. Rocky is een bekende van ons; hij kwam in het verleden wel eens op vakantie in ons pension. Toen er om begeleiding gevraagd werd, is hij vervolgens in training gegaan bij één van onze gedragsdeskundigen. Met de juiste structuur, rust en duidelijke begeleiding zagen we mooie vooruitgang en heeft hij lange tijd stabiel en ontspannen gedrag laten zien. Door veranderde omstandigheden binnen het gezin kwam de zorg voor Rocky uiteindelijk bij één persoon te liggen. In combinatie met een drukke baan werd het steeds lastiger om hem te bieden wat hij nodig heeft, waardoor zijn oude gedrag weer naar voren kwam. In die periode is er ook een incident geweest waarin Rocky zijn grens heeft aangegeven en is hij, na een lastig besluit, bij ons afgestaan. Bij ons zien we een gevoelige jongen met een wat afwachtende houding. Zodra je echter samen met hem op pad gaat, zie je dat hij snel ontspant. Tijdens wandelingen loopt hij netjes mee in de groep en leert hij ook daar te ontspannen. Voor Rocky zijn we op zoek naar een geduldig en betrokken baasje dat begrijpt hoe belangrijk rust, duidelijkheid en begeleiding voor hem zijn. Iemand die hem helpt om weer vertrouwen te krijgen in de wereld om hem heen en hem stap voor stap ondersteunt in het maken van de juiste keuzes.
