Roja

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Roja is a three to four month old, enchanting female dog with a slender appearance and a particularly cute look. Her short, smooth coat is predominantly light beige to cream-colored and is complemented by warm, golden brown nuances. Her cute, soft hanging ears give her a particularly gentle and lovable expression. Her large, dark eyes look attentive and friendly, while her black nose beautifully rounds out her pretty face. As an adult, Roja is expected to remain a small dog and with her delicate appearance and enchanting puppy charm, she will surely win many hearts. Roja is a very friendly and open young dog that gets along well with her fellow dogs. She thus brings good conditions to discover the world together with her future humans and to gain many new experiences. Now she only needs a home where she can settle down in peace and develop into a happy dog. In her new home, everything will be new: people, smells, sounds, routines and all the small things of everyday life that she must first learn to know. A loving and consistent upbringing with clear rules and positive reinforcement will give her security and orientation; a positively working dog school can support her in learning together with her humans. Her new humans should give her the time she needs to settle in and build trust. Roja is still a little dog child, but soon she will come into puberty and become increasingly independent, test boundaries and be more easily distracted by exciting stimuli. Even previously learned things can temporarily function less reliably in this phase - this is a normal part of her development. Patience, loving consistency and a reliable framework help Roja to master this exciting time well. As a puppy, Roja wants to discover her new world with all her senses and should be kept busy in a way that is appropriate for her age. Small sniffing games, short training sessions, playful learning and age-appropriate walks can give her a lot of joy and at the same time promote her development. Equally important are sufficient sleep, rest periods and time to process the many new impressions. We wish Roja a very lovable and empathetic home where she can finally experience security, warmth and a lot of love. People who enjoy accompanying a young dog on his way through life and patiently showing him the world. Roja should not grow up in a kennel, but get her own bed, her own people and a place forever in their hearts. If you are interested, please contact us or fill out the self-disclosure form. We also cordially invite everyone who can offer a foster home to contact us. Your support and willingness to give a dog in need a loving home temporarily is a great help to us and the animals. Roja is vaccinated, chipped, dewormed and flea-free. She will be placed for a deposit and with a valid EU pet passport after a positive preliminary inspection. Thank you Mirjam! You gave Roja her name and thus her own identity. Status: 09.10.2026 Further information on the preliminary inspection and deposit

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Roja

What life with Roja looks like

Roja is a large puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Roja, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Roja?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Roja on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Roja if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Roja already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Roja isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Roja and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
