adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Rose-Lily has found its own home! Her story: 28309 Bremen. The pretty Rose-Lily had some luck and could travel to her foster home in Bremen. There, she is settling in great and is learning very quickly the dog 1*1. She is already house-trained, runs quite well on the leash, but there is still some training needed and she gets along well with all dogs. She also plays very much with her dog buddies. In her food search, she shows no resource guarding. Currently, Rose-Lilly is about 60-62cm tall and weighs around 24kg. She has beautiful long legs and appears rather graceful and athletic. Rose-Lilly is an active young female dog who wants to catch up on everything she has missed so far. She looks forward to long walks and hikes and would also be a great jogging companion. Head and nose work would also bring her a lot of joy, as she is very eager to learn, open, and curious. She currently shows no prey drive, she does not react particularly to birds, squirrels, or cats. For a family with slightly older children, she would also be a suitable companion. Outside, she finds children in all forms of appearance interesting and does not get irritated when they do things she finds "funny," like screaming, running, or playing football. Even tricycles, etc., are okay for her. Originally, Rose-Lilly came from Fantanele, Romania. Since puppyhood, she waited there for her people – inexplicable, because this wonderful female dog is an absolute dream dog. Rose-Lily is now approximately 1.5-2 years old. Rose-Lily is a very friendly female dog who loves the contact with people. She could cuddle for hours. She can adapt well to new situations and brings the necessary self-confidence for it. She is curious – a good trait to integrate her into a new life. The beautiful Rose-Lily is looking for active people who have joy in a great companion for all life situations. Our Rose-Lily is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She has an EU pet passport and can be adopted after a positive Maria K.! You have given Rose-Lily her name!

Vielen Dank Maria K.! Du hast Rose-Lily ihren Namen geschenkt!

About Rose-Lily

What life with Rose-Lily looks like

Rose-Lily is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rose-Lily, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rose-Lily?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rose-Lily on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rose-Lily if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rose-Lily already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rose-Lily isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rose-Lily and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
