Rosie

Labradoodle · Female · Young · 1 year

12-08-26 Rosie has come to us from a breeder and is a practically perfect girly in every way! She is happy, confident and just loves to please. Rosie is an active girl who would love an active home where she can enjoy plenty of adventures and make the most of everything life has to offer. Rosie is confident enough to be homed as an an only dog, or she can live with kind resident dogs who won't mind sharing their space with this playful lady. She has been kenneled with dogs of all sizes well and has even been very tolerant of playful puppies! Rosie can be a little grumbly with other dogs over food, so if she was to be homed with another dog, her adopters would need to be able to manage this and feed her separately from any other dogs. She has never lived in a home before, so she will need kind adopters who can help her learn all about home life, including house training. Rosie has already started walking on a lead and would love to continue building on this in her new home. Rosie is a wonderful girl who we know will bond closely with her family and be a fantastic companion for her lucky adopters! Rosie has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.

About Rosie

What life with Rosie looks like

Rosie is a young adult labradoodle dog waiting at Many Tears Animal Rescue in Llanelli.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rosie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rosie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Many Tears Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rosie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rosie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Many Tears Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rosie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rosie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Many Tears Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rosie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
