Paws Patas Input 16 April 2026: Roy came to us when he was only two weeks old. We received a phone call: the mother dog was wandering in the mountains and had hidden her ten puppies in a fox hole. A shelter, deep hidden in nature. As soon as we could, we took action. One by one, we carefully took the puppies out of the hole, warm and safe in our arms. Then began a new challenge: catching the mother, who was frightened and wary. She was extremely scared, but with patience and care, she was also safely brought to her puppies. She is doing wonderfully now. Because the pups came into contact with people so young, they have grown up completely socialized. They are loving, playful and curious about the world around them. They have already learned to walk nicely on a leash - and that goes surprisingly well. Roy is no exception. He is a gentle puppy with a warm character. He is smart too - he picks up new things quickly and always looks at the world with curious eyes. He is affectionate and loving, greatly enjoys giving and receiving cuddles, and loves playing with his brothers and sisters. The group of puppies has now been separated and Roy currently lives with an adult male dog. He loves it: running, playing and exploring the world a little together. Occasionally he does some kitten mischief - something only young dogs can do so well. But above all, Roy is a puppy that steals hearts. A cheerful, gentle soul ready for a loving home of his own, where he can continue to grow and be himself completely.

Paws Patas Input 16 april 2026: Roy kwam bij ons toen hij nog maar twee weken oud was. We kregen een telefoontje: moederhond zwierf rond in de bergen en had haar tien puppy’s in veiligheid gebracht in een soort vossenhol. Een schuilplaats, diep verscholen in de natuur. Toen zijn we meteen in actie gekomen. Eén voor één hebben we de puppy’s voorzichtig uit het hol gehaald, warm en veilig in onze armen. Daarna begon een nieuwe uitdaging: het vangen van moeder, die angstig en op haar hoede was. Ze was ontzettend bang, maar met geduld en zorg is ook zij veilig bij haar kleintjes gebracht. Inmiddels doet ze het hartstikke goed. Omdat de pups zo jong al met mensen in aanraking kwamen, zijn ze volledig gesocialiseerd opgegroeid. Ze zijn lief, speels en nieuwsgierig naar de wereld om hen heen. Ook hebben ze al geleerd om netjes aan de riem mee te lopen—en dat gaat verrassend goed. Roy is daarin geen uitzondering. Hij is een zachtaardig hondje met een warm karakter. Slim ook—hij pikt nieuwe dingen snel op en kijkt altijd met nieuwsgierige oogjes de wereld in. Hij is aanhankelijk en lief, geniet enorm van knuffels geven én ontvangen, en vindt het heerlijk om met zijn broertjes en zusjes te spelen. Inmiddels is de groep pups wat gescheiden en woont Roy nu samen met een volwassen reu. Dat vindt hij geweldig: samen rennen, spelen en de wereld een beetje ontdekken. Af en toe haalt hij daarbij natuurlijk ook wat kattenkwaad uit—zoals alleen jonge honden dat zo goed kunnen. Maar bovenal is Roy een hondje dat harten steelt. Een vrolijke, zachte ziel die klaar is voor een eigen liefdevol thuis, waar hij verder mag opgroeien en helemaal zichzelf mag zijn.
