Hello, my name is Runa. I am an older cat and I arrived at our shelter on May 15, 2026, from Tarnopolska Street. For some time, I would appear in the lower cage. Despite announcements, no one claimed me or acknowledged me as their cat. I desperately sought contact with people, wanting to be close, asking for attention and human presence. Even at the animal shelter, I still need closeness, but this place stresses me out a bit, so I sometimes hiss at someone. I don't do this out of anger—I just sometimes feel lost and need peace. I love a calm environment, good food, and a person who respects my boundaries. I don't get along with other cats, so I would be best as the sole feline resident in a home. I use a litter box and am a well-behaved, mature cat who dreams only of a safe place for the rest of her life. I am sterilized, vaccinated, and microchipped. Could you be the one to give me a home where I will feel calm, important, and loved again?
