Adopt Anela

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Age: to be provided. Gender: female. neutered: no Character: very friendly, puppy-like playful Size: still growing, likely to become medium-sized Im Shelter since: May 2026 Family: siblings RW 4, RW 7, RW 8, RM 25 & RM 33 Hello world… now I’m coming! And before my big ears take over the whole room, I’ll introduce myself quickly. I am RW 10. Snow-white with a pink nose full of tiny black dots and huge ears. Some say I look a bit like a white fox. Others claim I might learn to fly one day. Although I wasn’t brave, I felt when I was found with my siblings, all alone, without a mother. The tall grass was eerie, and every movement made me scared. Today, I live in the shelter. Here, kind people take care of us. They do their best, but there are so many dogs who need attention. That’s why I’m overjoyed with every single pat, as if it were the greatest gift in the world. I then run off, stumbling and with flapping ears, so no one misses me. Because really, all I wish for is to finally arrive somewhere. I dream of people who have time for me. Those who cuddle with me, discover the world with me, and never leave me alone again. And I firmly believe that somewhere, exactly these people are waiting for me. The question is only when they will come to get me here. Interested? If you’re interested in RW 10, please fill out our interested parties form (), or write us an email or a message on Facebook. RW 10 is ready to travel and can travel to Germany with the next transport. Our dogs travel legally with Traces. Traces refers to the database system that monitors the entire animal transport within the EU. The dogs travel neutered (if old enough), vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, and have an EU passport. Additionally, for dogs over 12 months old, a rapid test for the following Mediterranean diseases is conducted before travel arrangements: Borreliosis, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Dirofilariosis, and leishmaniasis. SteckbriefAlter: ca. März 2026 geboren. Geschlecht: weiblich.

About Anela

What life with Anela looks like

Anela is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Seelen für Seelchen e.V. in Alfter.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Anela, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Anela?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Seelen für Seelchen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Anela on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Anela if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Seelen für Seelchen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Anela already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Anela isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Seelen für Seelchen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Anela and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
