Saba - absolutely lovely Status: available for adoption Saba is that girl who thinks humans exist mainly to pet her – and it's hard not to agree. She loves human contact, initiates cuddles herself, rubs against hands and happily responds to every attention. She especially likes the moments of putting on and taking off shoes – as soon as a person bends down, Saba immediately sees it as an invitation to snuggle up with all her might, effectively blocking the process of leaving the house, but she does it so sweetly that it's hard to be upset with her 😁 With guests she is initially a bit surprised, but quickly recovers and gladly accepts pats. She copes well in new places and with new people – especially if someone happens to have something to eat (not necessarily intended for a dog 🤣). On walks she ignores strangers, but if she sees someone wants to get to know her, she approaches, wags her tail and allows herself to be petted. At home she is a real lady – she keeps everything clean and even if she doesn't go out for a walk, she calmly waits for the next one. When she really has to go out, she gives subtle signals – she becomes restless or softly whines, so she is easy to understand. She doesn't need another dog to be happy. The presence of a resident is often ignored, unless that resident is too energetic – then she can "put him upright". She prefers toys for herself, although sometimes she grabs the other end. She hasn't started running around together yet on walks, but she reads dog signals nicely and communicates well. Currently, she can be reactive to other dogs – barks and approaches, as if she isn't quite sure what's going on, but we are working on it and she often allows herself to be recalled. We haven't tested cats at home, but outside she would like to run after them – fortunately, she responds to voice and quickly returns to reality. Children? She had contact with a three-year-old – his chaos slightly stressed her, but when he gave her a piece of cheese, she took it with amazing delicacy ❤️ She will probably find herself with older or calmer children, since that's the ones she knows and loves. Being left alone is no philosophy for Saba – she usually just goes to sleep and changes side occasionally 😅 She doesn't destroy anything, doesn't go on trips around the house, and the only thing that may "disappear" is leftover food 🤣 On walks she walks very nicely – she goes ahead, sniffs, observes the world. She can be scared by sudden noises, like a passing truck, and recently has developed some distance from bikes (greetings to the Glovo courier 😅), but generally, walks with her are pure pleasure. She can be picky about going to the bathroom – she goes when she thinks it's the right moment, not "just in case". Car? At first scared, now love! Saba herself wants to jump into the car, even when we don't plan to leave 😄 She feels best on the back seat, where she takes up most of the space (regardless of the fact that the resident is bigger 😄). During the ride she sleeps, doesn't vomit, doesn't get stressed. In stressful situations, she doesn't show aggression – baths are considered the worst thing in the world and she expresses this through dramatic attempts to climb everything possible, but without using her teeth. She once growled during very uncomfortable situations (e.g., cleaning the bottom or taking found items), but she quickly learns and now allows such things to be taken from her. At home, she's a quiet, still somewhat unsure girl who prefers to sleep in her safe place. Gradually, she is discovering the apartment – she loves carpets, panels and tiles are already getting used to, although sometimes she looks like she's walking on ice 😄 The couch is already hers, though she still doesn't fully believe it's a legal place to sleep. She is just learning about toys – balls and squeaky toys interest her, she likes to chew and slowly discovers the joy of playing. On the other hand, she handles training mats, licking and chew toys very well. Cardboard? The best toy ever. Saba is a dog full of affection, still somewhat uncertain, but extremely grateful and ready for closeness with a human. Saba - urocza na maxa Status: do adopcji Saba to taka dziewczyna, która uważa, że człowiek istnieje głównie po to, żeby ją głaskać – i trudno się z nią nie zgodzić. Uwielbia kontakt z ludźmi, sama inicjuje przytulanie, ociera się o ręce i z radością reaguje na każdą uwagę. Szczególnie upodobała sobie momenty zakładania i zdejmowania butów – gdy tylko człowiek się schyli, Saba natychmiast uznaje to za zaproszenie do wtulania się całym sobą, skutecznie blokując proces wyjścia z domu, ale robi to tak uroczo, że trudno mieć jej to za złe 😁 Wobec gości bywa na początku lekko zaskoczona, ale szybko się przełamuje i chętnie przyjmuje głaski. W nowych miejscach i przy nowych ludziach też radzi sobie świetnie – zwłaszcza jeśli ktoś akurat coś je (niekoniecznie przeznaczonego dla psa 🤣). Na spacerach ignoruje obcych, ale jeśli widzi, że ktoś chce ją poznać, podchodzi, merda ogonem i daje się pogłaskać. W domu jest prawdziwą damą – pięknie trzyma czystość i nawet jeśli nie załatwi się na spacerze, spokojnie poczeka do kolejnego. Gdy naprawdę musi wyjść, daje subtelne sygnały – robi się niespokojna albo delikatnie zapiszczy, więc łatwo ją zrozumieć. Nie potrzebuje drugiego psa do szczęścia. Obecność rezydenta często ignoruje, chyba że ten przesadzi z energią – wtedy potrafi go „ustawić do pionu”. Zabawki woli mieć dla siebie, choć czasem złapie za drugi koniec. Na spacerach jeszcze się nie rozkręciła do wspólnych gonitek, ale ładnie czyta psie sygnały i dobrze się komunikuje. Aktualnie bywa reaktywna na inne psy – szczeka i podbiega, jakby sama nie do końca wiedziała, o co chodzi, ale pracujemy nad tym i często daje się odwołać. Kotów w domu nie testowaliśmy, ale na zewnątrz chętnie by za nimi pobiegła – na szczęście reaguje na głos i szybko wraca do rzeczywistości. Dzieci? Z jednym trzylatkiem miała kontakt – jego chaos trochę ją stresował, ale gdy podał jej kawałek sera, wzięła go z niesamowitą delikatnością ❤️ Raczej odnajdzie się przy starszych lub spokojniejszych dzieciach, bo takie już poznała i pokochała. Zostawanie samemu to dla Saby żadna filozofia – najczęściej po prostu idzie spać i zmienia boczek co jakiś czas 😅 Niczego nie niszczy, nie urządza wycieczek po domu, a jedyne, co może „zniknąć”, to zostawione jedzenie 🤣 Na spacerach chodzi bardzo przyjemnie – idzie przed siebie, węszy, obserwuje świat. Może się przestraszyć nagłego hałasu, jak przejeżdżająca ciężarówka, a ostatnio nabrała dystansu do rowerów (pozdrawiamy kuriera Glovo 😅), ale generalnie spacery z nią to czysta przyjemność. Bywa wybredna w kwestii załatwiania się – robi, kiedy uzna, że to właściwy moment, a nie „na zapas”. Samochód? Na początku strach, teraz miłość! Saba sama chce wskakiwać do auta, nawet gdy nie planujemy wyjazdu 😄 Najlepiej czuje się na tylnej kanapie, gdzie zajmuje większość miejsca (nieważne, że rezydent jest większy 😄). W czasie jazdy śpi, nie wymiotuje, nie stresuje się. W stresujących sytuacjach nie wykazuje agresji – kąpiele uważa za największe zło tego świata i wyraża to dramatycznymi próbami wspinaczki po wszystkim, co się da, ale bez używania zębów. Zdarzyło jej się zawarczeć przy bardzo niekomfortowych sytuacjach (np. czyszczenie tyłka czy zabieranie znalezisk), ale szybko się uczy i obecnie pozwala sobie takie rzeczy odebrać. W domu to spokojna, trochę jeszcze niepewna dziewczynka, która najchętniej śpi w swoim bezpiecznym miejscu. Stopniowo odkrywa mieszkanie – dywany kocha, panele i kafelki już ogarnia, choć czasem wygląda, jakby stąpała po lodzie 😄 Kanapę już zdobyła, choć jeszcze nie do końca wierzy, że to legalne miejsce do spania. Zabawek dopiero się uczy – interesują ją piłki i piszczałki, lubi gryźć i powoli odkrywa radość zabawy. Za to świetnie radzi sobie z matami węchowymi, lizaniem i gryzakami. Karton? Najlepsza zabawka ever. Saba to pies pełen czułości, trochę jeszcze niepewny, ale ogromnie wdzięczny i gotowy na bliskość z człowiekiem.
