Sep

Unknown Β· Kitten Β· 7 months

Sep (estimated birth date 15-3-2026) is a sweet castrated tomcat who loves to snuggle up to you. He curls up all around you and wraps his paws around you. It feels like he's really giving you a hug. We've fallen in love with him! Sep was found when he was about four months old, with a big wound on his lip. Luckily, the wound healed well. He's missing one canine tooth and a small piece of his lip, but he doesn't have any problems with it. He also had surgery for a hernia, so that's all behind him. Sep came to live with us because we were looking for a friend for Marino, who was already in foster care and was alone. And what a great duo they make! They love to play together and often sleep together. It's nice to see how well they get along. Sep is used to other cats, a friendly dog in the foster family, and children who approach him in a calm, respectful, and loving way. We're looking for a nice home for Sep and Marino where they can grow up together, play, and of course cuddle. Sep and Marino will be placed together. Sep has had his three vaccinations and is castrated. If you click, he can move to his new home right away! Are you curious about Sep and Marino? Then you're welcome to meet these two boys in their foster home in Gemert. Fill out the contact form below.

Vul snel onderstaand contactformulier in.

About Sep

What life with Sep looks like

Sep is a small kitten cat waiting at Hokazo in Uden.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months β€” most shelters arrange this before adoption.

πŸ‡³πŸ‡±Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sep, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sep?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hokazo handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sep on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sep if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Hokazo will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Sep already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sep isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hokazo early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sep and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
