Sherlock is a 12-year-old gentle and affectionate female cat. I have spent my entire life indoors and would like to continue living exclusively indoors and possibly on a secure balcony in my new home. A quiet household where I can settle at my own pace would be ideal for me. I am very friendly and affectionate towards people. I enjoy attention and I am happy when my caregivers spend time with me. Physical contact and loving attention are important to me, but at the same time, my personal boundaries should be respected and I should not be lifted up, as this is uncomfortable for me due to my health issues. I have arthritis and also a trapped nerve in my spine in the area of the tail base. That's why I need medication twice a day. Fortunately, I take these easily in a syringe. My future caregivers should be willing to reliably support me with medication and take my health needs seriously. Due to my condition, I would like a quiet home without young children. Older children or teenagers could be a good fit for me, depending on their understanding of my needs. It is especially important that you handle me gently, do not pressure me and accept me. Ich bin Sherlock und mit meinen zwölf Jahren eine gemütliche und liebenswerte Katzendame. Mein ganzes bisheriges Leben habe ich in Wohnungshaltung verbracht, und auch in meinem neuen Zuhause möchte ich weiterhin ausschließlich in der Wohnung und evtl. einem gesicherten Balkon leben. Ein ruhiger Haushalt, in dem ich in meinem eigenen Tempo ankommen darf, wäre für mich ideal. Menschen gegenüber bin ich sehr freundlich und verschmust. Ich genieße Aufmerksamkeit und freue mich, wenn meine Bezugspersonen Zeit mit mir verbringen. Nähe und liebevolle Zuwendung sind mir wichtig, gleichzeitig sollte man meine persönlichen Grenzen respektieren und mich nicht hochheben, denn das ist für mich aufgrund meiner gesundheitlichen Beschwerden unangenehm. Ich habe Arthrose und außerdem einen eingeklemmten Nerv an der Wirbelsäule im Bereich der Schwanzbasis. Deshalb benötige ich zweimal täglich Medikamente. Diese nehme ich glücklicherweise problemlos in einer Spritze ein. Meine zukünftigen Menschen sollten bereit sein, mich zuverlässig bei der Medikamentengabe zu unterstützen und meine gesundheitlichen Bedürfnisse ernst zu nehmen.
