Sila is a very sweet and affectionate dog who loves physical contact. She enjoys lying on the couch with you and is very obedient. She loves cuddling and kisses, and she constantly craves affection and attention. She is slightly more attracted to women than men, but she has no problems with men; she may be a bit shy at first. Sila is very playful with other dogs and respects adult cats. Her temperament towards other dogs is submissive; she never seeks conflicts, and she gives other dogs kisses as a sign of peace. She has a strong hunting instinct. Sila was found completely abandoned, lying in a rural area, next to another dog. She was extremely thin, had an eye infection, and was full of parasites. She was chipped, but her owner was a hunter who did not take good care of her. The shelter fought for her guardianship and reported the neglect. It was eventually successful to have the owner voluntarily give up her guardianship. However, we think it is safer for her to be adopted outside of Spain, for her own safety. Sila has tested positive for Erlichia and Babesia. She has undergone treatment and we are waiting for the repeat tests. We expect the results to be negative. We rescued her with Nora; we think Nora is her mother. In any case, they are very attached to each other. It would be fantastic if a joint adoption were possible, although we know it is complicated, so it is not a requirement. Hopefully, they will now be seen by the right person who wants to open their heart and home to both dogs.

Ze vindt het heerlijk om bij je op de bank te liggen en is erg gehoorzaam. Ze houdt van knuffelen en kusjes, en ze hunkert constant naar genegenheid en aandacht. Ze voelt zich iets meer aangetrokken tot vrouwen dan tot mannen, maar ze heeft geen problemen met mannen; ze is misschien in het begin een beetje verlegen. Sila is erg speels met andere honden en respecteert volwassen katten. Haar temperament ten opzichte van andere honden is onderdanig; ze zoekt nooit conflicten, en ze geeft andere honden kusjes als teken van rust. Ze heeft een sterk jachtinstinct. Sila werd volledig verlaten gevonden, liggend in een landelijk gebied, naast een andere hond. Ze was extreem mager, had een ooginfectie, en zat vol parasieten. Ze was gechipt, maar haar eigenaar was een jager die niet goed voor haar zorgde. Het asiel hebben gestreden voor haar voogdij en aangifte gedaan van verwaarlozing.
