ASAP (Alhama Street Animal Protection) Update April 25, 2026: Simba was neutered on April 16. That day he also received his chip and passport and from his blood test it appears he is a healthy guy. Simba once again shows that he likes to play with other dogs; two puppies have joined the foster family and he really enjoys playing with them. There is 1 new photo and a video added. Input April 2, 2026: End of February, Annick from ASAP received a message from an English couple in Jatar (a small village near Alhama de Granada) who had found a small puppy in their neighborhood that was wandering alone there. They gave him food and water, but couldn't keep him. ASAP placed him with several fosters who could take care of him during the first few weeks, but he has been living with Annick, a regular foster for ASAP, for some time now. Simba is a very kind, relaxed dog. He is very affectionate and loves cuddles, but can also play alone or just lie in the sun. He is very playful with the other dogs in the foster family and energetic during group walks. He walks fantastically on a leash, but can be reactive if he sees a cat outside. He got along well with the cats in the yard of the first foster family, but will probably chase cats if they run away. Simba sleeps peacefully at night in his crate and is housebroken. He is a real sweetheart and will be a fantastic lifelong friend for someone. Could he be the perfect dog for you? Simba received his regular vaccinations on 2/24/26 and 3/10/2026. Simba is allowed to travel from May 7.

ASAP (Alhama Street Animal Protection) Update 25 april 2026: Simba werd op 16 april gecastreerd. Die dag ontving hij ook zijn chip en paspoort en uit zijn bloedtest blijkt dat hij een gezonde knul is. Simba laat maar weer eens zien dat hij graag met andere honden speelt; er zijn 2 puppy's in het gastgezin bijgekomen en hij vindt het erg leuk om lekker met hen te ravotten. Er is 1 nieuwe foto en een video toegevoegd. Input 2 april 2026: Eind februari kreeg Annick van ASAP een bericht van een Engels koppel in Jatar (een dorpje vlakbij Alhama de Granada) met de mededeling dat ze een klein hondje hadden gevonden in hun buurt dat daar alleen rondliep. Ze gaven hem eten en drinken, maar konden niet bij hem blijven. ASAP plaatste hem bij enkele fosters die hem de eerste weken konden bijhouden, maar sinds kort woont hij bij Annick, een vaste foster van ASAP. Simba is een heel goedmoedige, relaxte hond. Hij is erg aanhankelijk en houdt van knuffelen, maar kan ook prima alleen spelen of lekker in de zon liggen. Hij is erg speels met de andere honden in het pleeggezin en energiek tijdens de groepswandelingen. Hij loopt fantastisch aan de lijn, maar kan wel wat reactief zijn als hij een kat buiten ziet. Hij kon goed overweg met de katten in de tuin van het eerste pleeggezin, maar zal waarschijnlijk achter katten aanrennen als ze weglopen. Simba slaapt 's nachts rustig in zijn bench en is zindelijk. Hij is een absolute lieverd en zal voor iemand een fantastische vriend voor het leven zijn. Zou hij de perfecte hond voor jou kunnen zijn? Simba kreeg zijn (gewone) vaccinaties op 24/2/26 en 10/3/2026. Simba mag reizen vanaf 7 mei.
