Skay

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Baby · 4 months

She was rescued as a puppy together with her brother, Fredi, but despite growing up side by side, the two couldn’t be more different at times. While others may be more serious or thoughtful, Skay approaches life like it’s one giant game waiting to happen. She is playful, energetic, social, and endlessly enthusiastic about having fun. Running around with dog friends, chasing, wrestling, zooming through the garden, Skay absolutely thrives when she has space to burn off energy and enjoy herself. She loves interaction and naturally brings a fun, lively atmosphere wherever she goes. Skay is also extremely friendly and easygoing with both humans and dogs. She enjoys company, attention, and activity, and has the kind of happy-go-lucky personality that makes her very easy to enjoy being around. The funniest thing about her is probably her face. When Skay is resting or simply observing the world, she has the most serious “resting female dog face” imaginable. She often looks deeply unimpressed, as though she’s silently judging everyone around her or contemplating life’s greatest disappointments. In reality, absolutely none of that is true. Behind that dramatic expression is an incredibly goofy, playful girl whose personality is pure chaos, joy, and silliness. One minute she looks like a strict headmistress judging your decisions and the next she’s sprinting in circles, throwing herself dramatically into playtime, or making complete nonsense of herself with her dog friends. She would thrive in an active home where she can continue being part of adventures, games, walks, and daily life. A home with another playful dog would likely make her very happy but that’s not a must and most importantly she simply needs people who appreciate her goofy charm. Skay is the perfect combination of athletic, affectionate, social, and hilariously expressive. A dog with the face of a grumpy philosopher and the soul of an overexcited class clown.

About Skay

What life with Skay looks like

Skay is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed animal waiting at Amospet in Skopje.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Skay far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇲🇰Adopting from North Macedonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Skay, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Skay?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Amospet handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Skay on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Skay if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Amospet will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Skay already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Skay isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Amospet early rather than rehoming privately; they know Skay and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
