Ski is een vrolijke en sociale dame met een hart van goud, klaar voor haar eigen warme thuis. Ze kwam bij ons terecht via een inbeslagname, maar ondanks haar moeilijke verleden bleef Ski steeds vriendelijk naar mensen toe. Kort na haar aankomst ontdekten we dat ze zwanger was. Ze ontpopte zich tot een fantastische mama van maar liefst 11 pups, die ondertussen allemaal hun gouden mandje hebben gevonden. Nu is het eindelijk Ski haar beurt. Ski geniet enorm van menselijk gezelschap, aandacht en knuffels. Ze bouwt snel een band op met haar mensen en is graag betrokken bij alles wat er rondom haar gebeurt. Ze is zindelijk en heeft een aanhankelijk karakter. Door haar lieve karakter en vrolijke uitstraling wordt ze soms onderschat. Ski weegt ongeveer 30 kg, is krachtig gebouwd en beschikt over behoorlijk wat spierkracht. Tijdens wandelingen kan ze stevig trekken aan de leiband en wanneer ze ergens haar aandacht op richt, heb je voldoende fysieke kracht en ervaring nodig om haar correct te begeleiden. Daarnaast reageert Ski niet altijd even goed op andere honden. Verdere socialisatie zal noodzakelijk zijn en onder professionele begeleiding. Daarom zoeken we voor haar een thuis zonder andere honden/katten en bij mensen die ervaring hebben met sterke, karaktervolle honden en die duidelijke grenzen kunnen stellen. We vermelden dit bewust omdat we onnodige teleurstellingen willen vermijden. Ski is een fantastische hond, maar ze heeft nood aan een eigenaar die haar temperament begrijpt en haar de juiste begeleiding kan bieden. Ondertussen is Ski gesteriliseerd en helemaal klaar om aan een nieuw hoofdstuk te beginnen. Voor Ski zoeken we een thuis met voldoende ruimte, bij voorkeur met een tuin, waar ze samen met haar mensen kan genieten van het leven, mooie wandelingen en alle aandacht die ze verdient.
