Skittles is a sensitive girl but once she has built a bond with you, she is so loving and affectionate. She has a bubbly personality; she is playful and funny. She enjoys climbing up onto things (including you) and having zoomies. She loves cheese too, so having some on hand will make her very happy! She would love kind and patient owners who are willing to take the time to build a bond with her. She would like a quiet adult-only household with preferably one or two owners. Meeting new people can be scary for Skittles so having to get to know more than two people would be quite worrying for her. Skittles would love if her adopters could be around for most of the time to help her settle into the home and build up her confidence. She needs support for her being suspected short sited as her behaviour observations supports this. Skittles benefits from her handler/person narrating her environment for her, being predictable initially and her having a safe place in the home. She thrived in the home while on foster - comfortable with household noises (washing machine, dishwasher). Skittles could potentially live with a calm small dog, pending meets at the centre.
