Speedy - auf Pflegestelle & Pate gesucht! Rasse
Mixed Breed · Unknown
Our delicate Whippet Opi, now named Levi, feels very comfortable on his foster home. He lives in a large pack—Whippets, Beagles, Podencos, and Bretons—and he gets along well with everyone almost all the time. He does not like being pressured and will turn into a small monster if someone tries to get to his food bowl while he’s eating. And that’s pretty much the only thing that can be complained about at home with this magical little guy… He is very people-oriented, cuddly, and his favorite sleeping spot is the foster mom’s bed (which also has extra soft pillows for the fur babies). Walking with him is completely problem-free in a quiet, rural, people-free area, and he loves going for walks. He also lets himself be dressed without any issues. However, if someone meets him—whether a person, a dog, or a bicycle—he becomes almost uncontrollable and screams and howls at the top of his lungs. I can’t even fathom what happens to him. It’s hard to imagine that the sweet Opi would ever attack someone if he were off the leash. I certainly won’t try it, and it’s not necessary anyway, as he has plenty of dog contact in the pack and lives in a home with a large garden. By now, he has put on some weight and has a great figure, but at 10-11kg, he is still a rather delicate little guy. Since he suffers from arthritis according to his age, he gets a Librela injection every four weeks, which clearly helps him. So far, it hasn’t been a problem for him to jump onto the sofa or the bed. Since Levi couldn’t be put under anesthesia, he was not neutered but received a castration chip instead. He is simply a sweet guy who tugs at the heartstrings. It makes me happy to see him so peaceful and cuddled up in the soft pillows :-) This would still be important: Speedy - auf Pflegestelle & Pate gesucht!
