He lived together with other scared dogs in the animal shelter and withdrew out of fear for weeks. However, at his foster home, Spike has begun to trust people. Step by step, he learned that people do not have any bad intentions towards him. Today, he shows himself as a loving, happy, and playful young dog who enjoys being with other dogs and his home. Spike needs people with patience, understanding, and a calm environment who continue to show him that the world can be a safe place. Once he has trust, he bonds closely with his people and shows his affection in a very special way.
