Sprinter nie miał w życiu łatwo, najpierw konał na łańcuchu pod okiem swego "pana" by następnie trafić do schroniska, które w jego oczach stało się najlepszym miejscem na świecie. Nie tak powinno wyglądać jego życie! Sprinter to duży ok 9 letni pies. Na spacerach chodzi dostojnie i wbrew swojemu imieniu, absolutnie nie pędzi. Idzie spokojnym tempem, nie ciągnie. Psy mija raczej spokojnie, chyba, że któryś chce mu "pokazać na co go stać" wtedy nie zawsze nerwy opanuje i potrafi się odszczekać, ale jeśli tylko ma opcję odejścia to bardzo chętnie ją wybiera. Potencjalna konfrontacja jest ostatnią rzeczą na którą chciałby marnować siły. Ruch uliczny nie stanowi dla niego problemu, odnajdzie się zarówno w spokojnej okolicy jak i w miejskim środowisku. Jeśli ma okazje to chętnie wchodzi do wody zmoczyć łapki. Do ludzi jest bardzo delikatny, lubi głaski, ale potrzebuje świadomego przewodnika, który będzie w stanie poprowadzić tak dużego psa.
