suczka

Mixed Breed · Male

Beautiful, young and adored, yet she ended up in a shelter. Czara is about a year old - still a full of energy kid who unfortunately can't use it in shelter conditions. She loves everyone who gives her even a little attention. She doesn't mind cuddles, and if she manages to get a person on their knees, that's the ultimate happiness. She has mastered sitting and lying down (sometimes she gets a bit confused, but she makes up for it with her charm). She's also motivated to eat, which will certainly make it easier for future owners to teach her new things. She gets excited at the sight of other dogs, but it's manageable. It's probably because she misses contact with her dog friends, which young dogs need so much. At the beginning of the walk, she pulls a bit, but she quickly calms down and starts walking on a loose leash. Such a wonderful dog doesn't deserve to spend her youth behind shelter bars. Czara needs responsible, active people and her place in the world. Maybe she's waiting for a new beginning at your place? Give her a chance before the next days and months take away her carefree nature!

PL·Show original

Piękna, młoda i przekochana, a mimo to wylądowała w schronisku. Daj jej szansę, zanim kolejne dni i miesiące odbiorą jej beztroskę!

About suczka

What life with suczka looks like

suczka is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Kejtersi in Poznań.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting suczka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about suczka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Kejtersi handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw suczka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt suczka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Kejtersi will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is suczka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if suczka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Kejtersi early rather than rehoming privately; they know suczka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
