Runcis lived with a cat named Blackhead. Both raccoons lived in a backyard territory, but when the property came into another person's ownership, the raccoons no longer had a place to live and a solution had to be found for where they could stay. Someone took the cats in, but unfortunately, after several months, the raccoons still could not adapt indoors. Therefore, both raccoons were taken to a shelter. Both cats are vaccinated, neutered, and treated for parasites.

Runcis dzīvoja kopā ar kaķenīti Melno galvu. Abi minkas mitinājās kādā piemājas teritorijā,bet īpašumam nonākot cita cilvēka īpašumā,minčiem vairs nebija iespējas tur dzīvot un bija jārod risinājums,kur viņiem palikt. Kāds cilvēks kaķus uzņēma pie sevis,bet diemžēl pat pēc vairākiem mēnešiem ūsaiņiem neizdevās adaptēties iekštelpās. Tāpēc abi minkas tika atvesti uz patversmi. Abi kaķi ir vakcinēti,kastrēti un apstrādāti pret parazītiem.
