Talat

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Talat was rescued at just four months old in the Diana Park residential area (Marbella), along with his siblings Tintín and Tabo (who has since been adopted). Like his brother Tintín, Talat is a very shy and skittish kitten. When you approach him, he prefers to keep his distance, although little by little he is showing more and more curiosity – a very important step in building his confidence. He is sociable with other cats, gets on well with his companions and finds security in them. Talat needs a family with experience of shy cats, who understand his nature and are willing to give him the time, patience and trust he needs to progress at his own pace. 💛 With the right environment, he will be able to discover how wonderful it is to trust. ✨ Adopt Talat and help him take that big step. 📩 Adoption enquiries: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Talat

What life with Talat looks like

Talat is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Talat, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Talat?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Talat on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Talat if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Talat already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Talat isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Talat and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
