Tatami is approximately 5 years old and was discovered by one of our animal rescuers in a small neighborhood of Cluj. There, she had to live on a chain and already had injuries on her neck. For almost two years, she has lived in a private foster home where she has been able to physically and emotionally recover. Despite her past, Tatami remains a calm, balanced, and very gentle female dog. She greets people—whether adults or children—friendly and cautiously. At first, she needs some time to build trust, but once she is settled, she enjoys closeness very much and shows her loving, tender side. It is likely that Tatami has herding dog genes. Currently, she shows no pronounced territorial behavior, but this could develop in her own home. Therefore, we are looking for a quiet, rural environment with people who understand her needs or are willing to learn. An enclosed yard or garden would be ideal. For city life or a bustling daily routine, Tatami is not suitable. Tatami has a shoulder height of about 60 cm and is an impressively beautiful, large female dog. Her warm, brown eyes reflect her gentleness and her fine observational skills. She is more reserved and explores her surroundings at her own pace. Patience, calmness, and a loving, clear guidance are particularly important for her. We wish for Tatami a home where she can finally arrive—safe, loved, and free from everything she had to endure before. Tatami is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, dewormed, and treated for fleas. Tatami ist etwa 6 Jahre alt und wurde von einer unserer Tierschützerinnen in einem kleinen Viertel von Cluj entdeckt. Dort musste sie an der Kette leben und trug bereits Verletzungen am Hals. Seit nun über zwei Jahren lebt sie auf einer privaten Pflegestelle, wo sie sich körperlich und seelisch gut erholen konnte. Ein Zuhause ersetzt das nicht. Trotz ihrer Vergangenheit ist Tatami eine ruhige, ausgeglichene und sehr sanfte Hündin geblieben. Sie begegnet Menschen – ob Erwachsenen oder Kindern – freundlich und vorsichtig. Anfangs braucht sie etwas Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen, doch wenn sie angekommen ist, genießt sie Nähe sehr und zeigt ihre liebevolle, zarte Seite. Vermutlich trägt Tatami Herdenschutzhund-Gene in sich. Aktuell zeigt sie kein ausgeprägtes territoriales Verhalten, jedoch kann sich dies im eigenen Zuhause entwickeln. Daher suchen wir für sie ein ruhiges, ländliches Umfeld bei Menschen, die ihre Bedürfnisse verstehen oder bereit sind, sich darauf einzulassen. Ein eingezäunter Garten oder Hof wäre ideal. Für das Leben in der Stadt oder einen trubeligen Alltag ist Tatami nicht geeignet. Tatami hat eine Schulterhöhe von etwa 60 cm und ist eine beeindruckend schöne, große Hündin. Ihre warmen, braunen Augen spiegeln ihre Sanftheit und ihre feine Beobachtungsgabe wider. Sie ist eher zurückhaltend und erkundet ihre Umgebung in ihrem eigenen Tempo. Geduld, Ruhe und eine liebevolle, klare Führung sind für sie besonders wichtig. Wir wünschen uns für Tatami ein Zuhause, in dem sie endlich ankommen darf – sicher, geliebt und frei von allem, was sie früher ertragen musste.
