Information: In early March 2026, this female pup and her brothers and sisters were dumped in a laundry basket in front of Elisa's animal shelter in Romania. This is something that unfortunately happens all too often. Born and left behind without their mother. They had trouble eating and without foster mom Medea, they wouldn't have made it. Medea had just given birth and adopted them as if they were her own. Now this pup is fully ready for a new life in the Netherlands! She is a lively, playful pup with lots of puppy energy. A bit more reserved than her brothers and sisters, but once she's familiar, she's a very lively pup! During our next visits, we will get to know her better. We cannot yet predict how this female pup will develop. We can always ask Elisa for an update. And especially: we hope to find her a nice, suitable place quickly in the Netherlands. Because in general, the younger a still lively pup can leave this animal shelter, the greater the chance that adjusting to a life as a house dog will be relatively smooth. The photos and videos further down on this page give an idea of her during our shelter visit. We expect her to grow into a small to medium-sized dog. What breeds are represented in her (great)parents is unknown, so the final size remains a guess. When a good matching adopter or foster family steps forward for her, our foundation will arrange transportation from the animal shelter with professional pet transport. Our puppies are brought home one by one to the address of their shelter or their permanent home.

Informatie: Begin maart 2026 werd dit teefje samen met haar broertjes en zusjes in een wasmand gedumpt voor de deur van Elisa's asiel in Roemenië. Dit is iets wat helaas heel vaak gebeurd. Pas geboren en achtergelaten zonder hun moeder. Ze hadden moeite met eten en zonder fostermama Medea hadden ze het niet gered. Medea had zelf net pups gehad en adopteerde hen alsof het haar eigen waren. Nu is deze pup helemaal klaar voor een nieuw leven in Nederland! Ze is vrolijke, speelse pup met lekker veel puppenenergie. Ietsje afwachtender dan haar broertjes en zusjes, maar eenmaal vertrouwd is ze een hele vrolijke pup! Tijdens volgende bezoeken zullen we haar beter leren kennen. We kunnen nog niet voorspellen hoe dit teefje zich zal ontwikkelen. Wel kunnen we altijd een update aan Elisa vragen. En vooral: we hopen dat we snel een fijne, passende plek vinden voor haar, in Nederland. Want over het algemeen geldt dat hoe jonger een nu nog vrolijke pup dit asiel kan verlaten, des te groter de kans dat het aanpassen aan een leven als huishond relatief soepel zal verlopen. De foto's en filmpjes verder naar beneden op deze pagina geven een beeld van haar tijdens ons asielbezoek. We verwachten dat ze zal opgroeien tot een kleine middenmaat hond. Welke rassen er in haar (voor)ouders vertegenwoordigd zijn, is onbekend, dus de uiteindelijke grootte blijft een schatting. Wanneer zich een goed passende adoptant of een gastgezin voor haar aandient, dan regelt onze stichting het vervoer vanaf het asiel, met professioneel huisdiertransport. Onze hondjes worden één voor één thuisgebracht bij het adres van hun opvang of hun blijvende thuis.
