Information: Some of our team members have visited Elisa's animal shelter in Romania on several occasions in January, May, and October 2024, and June and October 2025; the shelter with which we work intensively. They met these puppies - now young dogs - and their mother Sierra. When mother dog Sierra had puppies, she found shelter with someone else. Because this person only wants German Shepherds, he called Elisa to pick her and the pups up. That's how it works in Romania; you have dogs on your property or in your garden, and when there are too many, you "just" get rid of a few:
