About Ted

Friendly Ted is looking for a new home with French Bulldog experience and a garden. He would prefer company most of the time. No flats, please. Ted loves going for walks and being made a fuss of. He loves treats and playing tug of war. Ted will bark when someone knocks or rings the front door. He gets very excited when visitors come into the home and will bring a toy to play with them. He can also get over-excited and try to hump peoples’ legs. He will stop when told ‘no’, but this is something that could be helped by getting Ted neutered once he is settled in his new home (Dog Aid Scotland would cover the full cost). Our Welfare team can support the new owners if there is any further training required. Outside, he may try to jump up at people to say hello as he is very friendly. Ted was attacked by a dog a a few years ago and will growl and lunge at other dogs. He stays on the lead on walks. His recall is poor. Ted would love a garden where he can relax and run freely. Ted’s favourite word is ‘treat’ – his new owners could have some fun and teach Ted some tricks for a precious treat! Ted really does not like to wear dog clothes. He does not like being washed and brushed at home but seems to be fine with a groomer. He is a bit scared at the vet but seems to handle it. Ted can be left for a few hours and does not seem to have separation anxiety. © 2025 Dog Aid Scotland (SCIO Charity No. SC001918) Web Design by Techincal Services Scotland. Need a website?
