Theo - Hurra - ich bin da

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

If there are still raw diamonds among our four-legged friends of humans, then it must be us two – me, Theo, and my brother, Tade. Together, we were probably abandoned as very young puppies near an Hungarian animal shelter, where we were found shortly after and immediately taken in. Uncle Dr. came, checked our health, we were vaccinated and microchipped, and everyone agreed – the two of us could become Great Danes! Now we are half a year old, we traveled to Austria, and we are eagerly waiting for our people here. We are both very open to our environment, very curious but also a bit cautious. But somehow it is exciting to master the dog paddock on the big meadow, and we have no fear. We also got to visit the cat house – unimpressive and better to stay away from these furry creatures – caution is advised, especially with this large, brown tiger kitten – we were happy to be back outside. We are both like eggs from the same batch and hardly differ in our nature. We are calm, can already execute some commands, and feel very comfortable around people. Oh yes, we do not stay small – and the older we get, the more we resemble a Great Dane, although we are very different in nature – we would never pass the protection dog intake, with our gentleness we would breeze right through it! With other dogs, we are very open, want to play, and have fun.

Theo - Hurra - ich bin da is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierheim Hallein in Hallein.

Frequently asked

Adopting Theo - Hurra - ich bin da, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Theo - Hurra - ich bin da?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Hallein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Theo - Hurra - ich bin da on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Theo - Hurra - ich bin da if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Hallein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Theo - Hurra - ich bin da already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Theo - Hurra - ich bin da isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Hallein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Theo - Hurra - ich bin da and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
