Alvia, La Voix Des Animaux 🐾❤️ FOR ADOPTION: A FIGHTER WITH A TENDER HEART ❤️🐾 Her name is Tian, and her story is one that reminds us of the incredible strength of our four-legged friends. Born in May 2024, this little girl had a tragic start in life. We found her alone and seriously injured in the street, with a fractured pelvis. There is no way to know what happened to her... an accident? abuse? Whatever the case, we could not leave her like that. After her rescue, she underwent surgery and followed a long rehabilitation with exemplary courage. Today, she carries a small reminder of her past: a slight limp that gives her a unique and touching gait, but that in no way prevents her from living her best life as a cat! Thanks to a long socialization process, she has become a true gem: ✅ OK with dogs 🐕 ✅ OK with cats 🐈 ✅ OK with children 👧👦 She is an incredibly resilient and affectionate cat who asks only for one thing: to finally find the warmth and security of a home for life. She has so much love to give to the family who can look beyond her small difference. Information: Sex: Female Estimated date of birth: May 2024 Special feature: Limps slightly, but is full of life! About Tina

What life with Tina looks like

Tina is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Alvia La Voix Des Animaux in France.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tina?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Alvia La Voix Des Animaux handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tina if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Alvia La Voix Des Animaux will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Tina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tina isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Alvia La Voix Des Animaux early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
