Tinky lived seven years chained to a chain in the garden of an institution. Day after day, without attention or love, just waiting. Fortunately, one day someone came who decided Tinky deserved better, so he finally got the chance to start a new chapter. That's how he ended up with Timea, where he can now finally experience what it's like to be free and loved. When Tinky arrived at Timea, his coat was in poor condition. Years of lack of care had left their mark. Fortunately, he soon received the attention and love he so desperately needed, and after a haircut, his coat is now beautifully restored. Since then, Tinky has been thriving. He is a small-medium sized dog, about 48 cm tall and 18 kg heavy. Moreover, he travels well in the car and walks nicely on a leash. After all those years of loneliness, he is now clearly enjoying attention and company. Often, he quietly sits next to you for a cuddle and then lies there gratefully, happy with every moment of human contact. In addition, Tinky is friendly and attached. Sometimes he is a bit independent, but that's not strange after everything he has been through. Still, he shows that with some love and patience, he will be a great companion for his future adopter. Update 2026: In April 2026, our volunteers went to Romania, where they personally met Tinky. Tinky has changed a lot again. He is a beautiful dog with a nice white coat and is very friendly. When the volunteer takes him out of the kennel, he is not afraid and enjoys it. He greets people and dogs and sniffs around. What a sweetie. Finally, Tinky is vaccinated and neutered. Tinky leefde zeven jaar lang vastgeketend aan een ketting in de tuin van een instelling. Dag in, dag uit, zonder aandacht of liefde, alleen maar wachten. Gelukkig kwam er op een dag iemand die besloot dat Tinky beter verdiende, daarom kreeg hij eindelijk de kans om aan een nieuw hoofdstuk te beginnen. Zo kwam hij terecht bij Timea, waar hij nu eindelijk kan ervaren hoe het is om vrij te zijn en geliefd te worden. Toen Tinky bij Timea aankwam, had hij een vacht in slechte conditie. Jarenlang gebrek aan verzorging had zijn sporen nagelaten. Gelukkig kreeg hij al snel de aandacht en liefde die hij zo hard nodig had, en na een scheerbeurt is zijn vacht nu weer mooi hersteld. Sindsdien bloeit Tinky op. Hij is een kleine middelmaat, ongeveer 48 cm hoog en 18 kilo zwaar. Bovendien reist hij prima mee in de auto en aan de lijn loopt hij keurig. Na al die jaren van eenzaamheid geniet hij nu zichtbaar van aandacht en gezelschap. Vaak komt hij rustig bij je zitten voor een knuffel en blijft dan dankbaar liggen, blij met elk moment van menselijk contact. Daarnaast is Tinky vriendelijk en aanhankelijk. Soms is hij een tikkeltje eigenzinnig, maar dat is niet zo gek na alles wat hij heeft meegemaakt. Toch laat hij zien dat hij met wat liefde en geduld een geweldig maatje zal zijn voor zijn toekomstige adoptant. Update 2026: In april 2026 gingen onze vrijwilligers naar Roemenië, waar zij Tinky persoonlijk hebben leren kennen. Tinky is alweer een hoop veranderd. Hij is een prachtige hond met een mooie witte vacht en is erg vriendelijk. Wanneer de vrijwilliger hem mee neemt uit de kennel is hij niet bang en hij geniet. Hij begroet de mensen en de honden en snuffelt erop los. Wat een lieverd. Tenslotte is Tinky gevaccineerd en gecastreerd. Hij is dus helemaal klaar om aan zijn nieuwe leven te beginnen: een leven vol vrijheid, warmte en knuffels. Wie gunt deze lieve hond zijn gouden mandje?
