Tito

Mixed Breed · Male

Tito is a young, strong dog who grew up in a home since puppyhood. He returned to the shelter from adoption because unclear rules made him feel too responsible for his people, becoming jealous (possessive) towards other people and dogs. He is a guy with great potential who simply needs a wise and stable guide. In the shelter, Tito shows his best side: he is very friendly towards other dogs, with whom he gets along well in the yards. On walks, he behaves perfectly - he ignores cars, and the initial pulling on the leash quickly disappears when the first emotions subside. At home, he perfectly maintains cleanliness, although in the cage he sometimes vents his frustration on bowls or blankets, which shows how much he lacks human contact and stability. We are looking for a patient, active home for Tito, which will dedicate time to teach him to calm his emotions and focus on the handler. Tito is a loyal friend who, in the right hands, will become the most wonderful companion, ready to give his whole heart for a little attention and clear cooperation rules. — METRICS — 🧮 Age: 05.2021 🚻 Gender: male 🐾 Size: 17.70 kg 🏀 Activity: high ❤️ Neutered: yes ℹ️ Chip: yes 💉 Vaccinations: yes 📍 Location:

About Tito

What life with Tito looks like

Tito is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tito, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tito?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tito on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tito if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tito already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tito isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Judyta dla Psiego Losu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tito and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
