How do I contact the shelter about TOM 3408?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. No Limit Pets handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw TOM 3408 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt TOM 3408 if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — No Limit Pets will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is TOM 3408 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if TOM 3408 isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with No Limit Pets early rather than rehoming privately; they know TOM 3408 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (RO). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

TOM 3408

German Shepherd · Female · Adult · 4 years

TOM is a special dog, a German Shepherd mix, who arrived at the shelter Ringo Land on December 14, 2022, after being rescued from Alexandria. His eyes say a lot; they are sad, shy, and sometimes he feels lost in the world. Tom is a fearful and withdrawn dog, who needs a lot of patience and understanding. Past experiences have made him cautious, but beneath this fear lies a gentle and loyal soul, ready to offer love when he feels safe. In the shelter, Tom is beginning to regain his trust in people and his surroundings. No matter how much attention and affection he receives from the team, nothing can replace a real family that will love and support him as he heals from his past wounds. Tom is the right dog for someone who understands that love and trust are built step by step, with patience and perseverance. He needs warm, patient people who will help him overcome his fear and discover the joy of a safe and loving life. Tom deserves a chance at happiness, a home where he feels protected and loved, where each day is a step toward trust and inner peace.

RO·Show original
