Torra – ab hier bitte Lächeln

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Torra originally came to us through a friendly association, was rehomed, and is now back with us due to a lack of a permit for dangerous dogs. An incident where wild animals were harmed made Torra a dangerous dog. During adoption, certain conditions must be observed and fulfilled, and for serious interest, we will guide the interested parties through this process. Torra is now always open, friendly, and curious, and has settled into all new living situations after shedding her initial skepticism. The classic good-natured dog who comments on the start of a walk and wants to explore the world delights in every two-legged being who takes the time for it. She gets along very well with fellow animals. Torra enjoys company and has the talent to avoid trouble intuitively. Even though this may seem different with a fence in between. She gets along well in company, including with same-sex dogs. She greets all humans kindly and is always delighted when it's time for a walk. She is a pleasant companion, always on the job, always available and approachable – at that moment, she is fully for the person who gives her these moments. Social contact with fellow animals should be enabled in dog training classes and in dog groups to allow her to let her play and work joy run free and to practice obedience in the presence of other dogs. Torra clearly seeks her two-legged, at least equally lively, curious, spontaneous, and adventurous companion. A confident and compatible only dog, already present, would perfect the happiness in the new home, as she does not like to be alone. While she can do this in familiar surroundings, it is still necessary to train it in the new environment. The same applies to the house and property; it would be nice to have it, but it is not strictly necessary if it is adequately occupied. Torra will surely settle into the new home and feel as if it had always been there. In previous placements, she has lived with cats and has experience as a riding companion. She can be rehomed with a family with children of the appropriate age and under appropriate supervision and guidance from adults. Torra is suitable for active people and can now also be a bit more laid-back sometimes. With certainty, Torra will bring a lot of joy, fun, and a huge pile of snuggling needs into the new home… and the very, very big dog happiness. Torra immediately dispels bad moods. Whether it's raining and snowing outside… who would like to give the lively and loving Torra a chance at her own home and enjoy every sunbeam with our happiness-bringer on four paws?

DE·Show original

Can I adopt Torra – ab hier bitte Lächeln if I live in another country?

Is Torra – ab hier bitte Lächeln already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. What happens if Torra – ab hier bitte Lächeln isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Schkortitz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Torra – ab hier bitte Lächeln and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
