Turulo - Senior Alert
Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 9 years
Turulo lived all his life with his human mama, until she passed away... After losing her caretaker, the owner of the house set Turulo onto the street, where he spent his days sitting on a street corner, until a rescue team was notifies of him, and he came to the shelter. We are still heartbroken thinking of him sitting on the street corner, after losing his human.... Turulo is a wonderful boy with such a lovely, kind character. Every volunteer who comes back from walking him, says oh wow, this boy, such a gentleman, such a sweet bear! We think Turulo must be some sort of a mix of Akita, with his big sturdy body, round furry face. He is so pleasant to walk on the leash, and even though he might be senior on paper, he still does little happy-skippy dancing moves when he is happy to see you. During the walks, when he gets excited or you give him extra love and appreciation, then the has little zoomies - he is so full of love & life. At the same time, he is so calm and Zen, just a perfect balance of energy for people who would like to still have a fairly lively, but mature dog, without the stress of leash-pulling, jumping and overwhelming behaviour. Turulo is very human-oriented and he builds connections quickly with people. He is also nice around other dogs and does not cause trouble to anymore. In the shelter he lives together with another senior dog, a female. Turulo is a five-stay best boy with the sweetest personality, impeccable manners and so much love left to give. His shoulder height is 62cm and he is ready for local or international adoption.
