Looking for a Home: Tuska and Pahki / Oulu These energetic tomcat brothers, about 5 months old, are looking for a home where they can stay together for life. Tuska (on the left) and Pahki (on the right) came to our association for care as orphaned kittens in the summer. There were six siblings in total. Over time, the group formed companion pairs, and Tuska and Pahki are now an inseparable duo. The kittens have become wonderfully tame in our foster home, and with loud purring they come to be held of their own accord. Tuska and Pahki are actually the boldest of the group and always the first to be in someone's lap, kneading away. These kittens have plenty of energy, and the brothers' antics will require patience and a sense of humor from their new home, not to mention a kitten-safe home! The tomcats will certainly make great company for all sorts of activities, since these lively and curious kittens are happy to join in. They can play for hours on end, and their favorite toy seems to be a fishing-rod toy, though they enjoy all kinds of entertainment. The kittens had diarrhea for a long time, which was found to be caused by feline coronavirus. The virus is common in cats, but to be on the safe side we are looking for a home where the pair will be the family's only pets. The diarrhea has now been overcome, but a special diet will continue for a while. Tuska and Pahki are therefore in very good health and ready to win over their future person! Kotia etsivät Tuska ja Pahki / Oulu Nämä vauhdikkaat, noin 5 kuukauden ikäiset kollipojat etsivät yhteistä kokoelämän kotia. Tuska (vasemmalla) ja Pahki (oikealla) ovat tulleet yhdistyksellemme hoitoon kesällä orpopentuina, ja sisaruksia on kaikkiaan kuusi. Ajan kanssa porukassa on syntynyt kaveruspareja, ja Tuska ja Pahki ovat nykyään erottamaton kaksikko. Pennut ovat kesyyntyneet sijaiskodissamme hienosti, ja he hakeutuvat kovan kehräyksen saattelemana itse syliin. Tuska ja Pahki ovatkin porukan rohkeimmat ja aina ensimmäisenä ihmisen sylissä kiehnäämässä. Näillä pennuilla riittää vauhtia, ja kaksikon touhut vaativatkin uudelta kodilta kärsivällisyyttä ja huumoria – unohtamatta tietenkään pentuturvallista kotia! Kollipojista saa varmasti mainiota seuraa kaikenlaiseen touhuiluun, sillä reippaat ja uteliaat pennut ovat mielellään menossa mukana. Leikkimiseenkin riittää virtaa tuntikausia, ja lempparilelu taitaa olla onkilelu vaikka kaikki muutkin viihdykkeet kelpaavat. Pennuilla on ollut pitkään ripuli, jonka syyksi paljastui kissojen koronavirus. Virus on kissoilla yleinen, mutta varmuuden vuoksi etsimme kaksikolle kotia perheen ainoina lemmikkeinä. Tällä hetkellä ripuli on jo voitettu, mutta erikoisruokavalio jatkuu vielä. Tuska ja Pahki ovat siis oikein hyvävointisia ja valmiita hurmaamaan tulevan oman ihmisensä!
