Looking for a Home: Vekara and Voro / Oulu These energetic, roughly 5-month-old tomcat brothers are looking for a home together. Vekara (on the left) and Voro (on the right) came into our association's care as orphaned kittens over the summer, and there are six siblings in total. Over time, bonded pairs formed within the group, and Vekara and Voro are now an inseparable duo. The kittens have become wonderfully tame in our foster home, and they seek out laps on their own, purring loudly. Voro has been the biggest and also the calmest of the group since the start. Even so, these lively kittens have plenty of energy, which means a new home will also need patience and a good sense of humor, not to mention a kitten-safe home! These tomcats are sure to be great company for any kind of mischief, as they are curious and eager to join in on whatever is happening. They have energy for hours of play, and their favorite toy seems to be a fishing-rod toy, though they enjoy all sorts of entertainment. The kittens had diarrhea for a long time, which was traced to feline coronavirus. The virus is common in cats, but to be on the safe side, we are looking for a home for the pair as the family's only pets. The diarrhea has now been overcome, but a special diet will continue for a while. Vekara and Voro are therefore in very good health and ready to charm their future person! Kotia etsivät Vekara ja Voro / Oulu Nämä vauhdikkaat, noin 5 kuukauden ikäiset kollipojat etsivät yhteistä kokoelämän kotia. Vekara (vasemmalla) ja Voro (oikealla) ovat tulleet yhdistyksellemme hoitoon kesällä orpopentuina, ja sisaruksia on kaikkiaan kuusi. Ajan kanssa porukassa on syntynyt kaveruspareja, ja Vekara ja Voro ovat nykyään erottamaton kaksikko. Pennut ovat kesyyntyneet sijaiskodissamme hienosti, ja he hakeutuvat itse syliin kovan kehräyksen kera. Voro on ollut alusta saakka porukan isoin ja myös rauhallisin. Touhukkaissa pennuissa riittää silti vauhtia, mikä vaatii uudelta kodilta myös kärsivällisyyttä sekä huumoria – unohtamatta pentuturvallista kotia! Näistä kollipojista saa varmasti seuraa kakenlaiseen touhuiluun, sillä he ovat uteliaana ja reippaana mielellään kaikenlaisessa menossa mukana. Leikkimiseenkin riittää virtaa tuntikausia, ja lempparilelu taitaa olla onkilelu vaikka kaikki muutkin viihdykkeet kelpaavat. Pennuilla on ollut pitkään ripuli, jonka syyksi paljastui kissojen koronavirus. Virus on kissoilla yleinen, mutta varmuuden vuoksi etsimme kaksikolle kotia perheen ainoina lemmikkeinä. Tällä hetkellä ripuli on jo voitettu, mutta erikoisruokavalio jatkuu vielä. Vekara ja Voro ovat siis oikein hyvävointisia ja valmiita hurmaamaan tulevan oman ihmisensä!
