🐾 Meet Ulka🐾 Age: 06/11/2023 Breed: German Shepherd Gender: Male Dog Neutered: No Description: Ulka came to us via a judicial seizure following a bite incident with a child. The incident, living environment, and the dog himself were thoroughly examined, and it was decided to rehouse him. Behavior & Personality: Ulka is an uncertain dog who tends to avoid confrontation and will flee if possible. Here at the animal shelter, we have not seen any signs of aggression. Our veterinarian did, however, put him on precautionary muzzle during the examination, and he growled. We unfortunately do not have all the details of his behavior in a home situation. We do see that he is very clean. He is not very keen on being alone; for example, if he is left alone on our pasture, you can hear him whine. In his kennel, he has already chewed on a couple of items, but blankets and stuffed toys remain intact. He is also crate trained. What does Ulka need? An experienced owner who will give him the time and opportunity to showcase his full potential. A home with only one owner would be ideal for Ulka. A home without children. A meeting with his own (stable!) dog is possible. A quiet home. Type of animal: Dog Gender: Male Age:. This animal is not suitable for homes with children.

🐾 Maak kennis met Ulka🐾 Leeftijd: 06/11/2023 Ras: Duitseherder Geslacht: Reu Steriel: Nee Beschrijving: Ulka kwam bij ons terecht via een bestuurlijke inbeslagname na een bijtincident met een kind. Het incident, de leefomgeving en de hond zelf werden uitgebreid bekeken en hieruit werd de beslissling genomen om hem te herplaatsen. Gedrag & Persoonlijkheid: Ulka is een onzekere hond, die eerder de confrontatie uit de weg gaat en vlucht indien mogelijk. Hier in het asiel hebben we nog geen enkel teken van agressie gezien, bij het onderzoek van onze dierenarts hebben we hem wel uit voorzorg een muilkorfje aangedaan en gromde hij. We hebben helaas niet alle details van zijn gedrag in een thuissituatie. We zien hier wel dat hij heel zindelijk is. Hij is niet heel graag alleen, als hij alleen op onze weide zit bijvoorbeeld hoor je hem wel janken. In zijn hok heeft hij wel al een paar keer iets gesloopt, maar dekentjes of knuffels blijven gewoon in leven. Hij is wel een bench gewoon. Wat zoekt Ulka? Een ervaren baasje, die hem de kans en tijd wilt geven om al zijn potentieel er te laten uitkomen. Een thuis met slechts 1 baasje zou ideaal zijn voor Ulka. Een thuis zonder kinderen.
