Zgredek - Senior - Handicap - Male, not neutered due to age and illness, shoulder height approx. 40 cm, born approx. 2011, at Belchatow Animal Shelter since 17.08.2026. This poor, old dog was found in a very bad condition, he could hardly stand on his feet. He was so full of fleas that his back was practically bald - see last photo. He was also shot - he has shotgun pellets in his scrotum, probably so he can no longer control his penis, so it is visible. Since Zgredek could not be neutered due to age, the shotgun pellets are still present. His previous life must have been as a chained dog, you can see it on the worn skin on his neck. Despite this sad history, Zgredek is very affectionate to people, he lets us strangers pet him immediately. He runs very well on a leash. He shares his kennel with males and females. Zgredek's old heart is not working properly, he takes medication that he will have to continue taking for the rest of his life. Will this old dog, so marked by life, find a quiet place, a warm bed and good people? It would be so nice if he does not have to spend the coming cold winter in a cold kennel. (09/2026 MI/AX)

389560 Zgredek – Senior – Handicap – Rüde, nicht kastriert da zu alt und krank, Schulterhöhe ca. 40 cm, geboren ca. 2011, im Tierheim Belchatow seit 17.08.2026. Dieser arme, alte Hundeopa wurde in einem sehr schlimmen Zustand gefunden, er konnte sich kaum noch auf seinen Pfoten halten. Er war so voll mit Flöhen, dass sein Rücken praktisch kahl war – s. letztes Foto. Außerdem hatte man auf ihn geschossen – in seinem Hodensack hat er Schrotkugeln, wahrscheinlich kann er dadurch seinen Penis nicht mehr kontrollieren, so dass er sichtbar ist. Da Zgredek altersbedingt nicht kastriert werden konnte, sind die Schrotkugeln immer noch vorhanden. Sein früheres Leben muss Zgredek als Kettenhund gefristet haben, man sieht es an der abgenutzten Haut am Hals. Trotz dieser traurigen Vorgeschichte ist Zgredek zu Menschen sehr lieb, lässt sich sofort von uns Fremden streicheln. An der Leine läuft er sehr gut. Seinen Zwinger teilt er sich mit Rüden und Hündinnen. Zgredek altes Herz ist nicht mehr in Ordnung, er bekommt Medikamente die er auch für den Rest seines Lebens weiter nehmen muss. Wird dieser alte, vom Leben so sehr gezeichnete Hund ein ruhiges Plätzchen, ein warmes Körbchen und gute Menschen finden? Es wäre so schön, wenn er den kommenden kalten Winter nicht im kalten Zwinger verbringen muss. (09/2026 MI/AX)
