VIZ

Female · Young · 1 year

I’m Viz and was born around August 2025. Just a few days ago, I was abandoned in front of a veterinary clinic in Spain. Why? I don’t know. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait long for help, and soon after, I was able to move in with animal rescuers. It’s only been three days since I’ve been safely here, and already I’m hoping that my next chapter will be a forever home. For now, I’m still living in Spain, waiting for my big chance. Although my life has completely changed, I’ve managed to keep my friendly and loving nature. I approach people openly, enjoy every cuddle, and get along well with other dogs too. Also, I’ve already tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Since I’ve only been in the care of the animal rescuers for a few days, I haven’t been neutered yet. Of course, this will be done before my departure, along with my vaccinations and microchipping. I’m a very sweet Siamese-mix cat—social and easygoing. What’s especially important to me is the company of another cat, because playing, cuddling, and experiencing everyday life together just makes so much more fun. That’s why I’d love to have a furry companion by my side in my new home. For my future, I’m looking for people who’ll never leave me again. Whether it’s in a loving apartment or with the possibility of safe outdoor access—what matters most to me is finally finding a place where I can feel truly settled and know that I’ll belong here forever. May I start my new chapter together with you?

About VIZ

What life with VIZ looks like

VIZ is a large young adult cat waiting at Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting VIZ, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about VIZ?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw VIZ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt VIZ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is VIZ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if VIZ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Aktion Tierisch Happy e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know VIZ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
