🐾 Hoi, ik ben Vroem…Mijn naam is Vroem. En misschien is dat wel de perfecte naam voor mij… want zodra het eten op is, vroem ik weg. 😹Ik ben een zwart katertje van ongeveer 16 weken oud en de middelste van de drie broertjes. Maar van ons drieën ben ik misschien wel degene die mensen het allerengst vindt.Toen ik ongeveer 8 weken oud was, kwam ik samen met mijn broertjes en mama bij de opvang terecht. Mijn opvangmama heeft ontzettend hard geprobeerd om mij te laten zien dat mensen niet eng zijn. Ze heeft heel veel geduld met mij gehad, maar ik geef toe… ik ben een moeilijke leerling. ❤️Ik zet wel stapjes, maar het zijn piepkleine stapjes.Mijn opvangmama zegt dat ze het soms jammer vindt dat zo'n jong katje als ik nog zo bang kan zijn voor mensen. Maar ze heeft ondertussen ook geleerd om mijn kleine overwinningen te zien. Want een klein stapje is óók een stapje.Mijn grootste liefde is voorlopig… eten. 😋Eigenlijk is eten de enige manier waarop je contact met mij kunt maken. Wanneer mijn opvangmama met lekker eten komt, durf ik dichterbij te komen. Maar zodra mijn bordje leeg is, verdwijn ik meestal ook weer als sneeuw voor de zon.En dan zie je mij nog amper.Misschien valt mijn staart je ook op. Ik draag hem vaak helemaal gekruld langs de zijkant van mijn lichaam. Het is bijna alsof ik mezelf letterlijk wat kleiner probeer te maken wanneer ik iets spannend vind.Ik ben geen katje dat zomaar bij je op schoot zal springen. Op dit moment kan ik me dat eerlijk gezegd nog helemaal niet voorstellen. Maar mijn verhaal is nog lang niet geschreven.Daarom zoek ik mensen met héél veel geduld. Mensen die begrijpen dat vertrouwen tijd kost en die niet verwachten dat ik binnen een paar weken een knuffelkat ben. Ik heb iemand nodig die mijn kleine stapjes wil vieren.Misschien is het op een dag al een overwinning dat ik blijf zitten terwijl mijn personeel in dezelfde kamer is.Misschien kom ik ooit wat dichterbij.Misschien eet ik ooit een snoepje terwijl mijn mens vlak naast mij zit.En misschien… komt er ooit een dag waarop ik een voorzichtig aaitje toelaat.Ik weet het zelf nog niet. ❤️Maar ik weet wel dat ik dit proces niet alleen wil aangaan.Mijn broer Vlad is mijn veilige haven. We zijn samen opgegroeid en hebben veel steun aan elkaar. Angstige katjes kunnen enorm veel vertrouwen halen uit een soortgenootje dat ze kennen. Daarom zoeken Vlad en ik samen een rustig en veilig plekje als boerderijkatten.Een thuis waar we lekker eten krijgen, een warm en veilig slaapplekje hebben en waar niemand ons verplicht om contact te hebben. Maar vooral een thuis waar ons personeel bereid is om geduldig verder te bouwen aan dat kleine beetje vertrouwen dat er misschien ergens diep vanbinnen al zit.Ik hoef geen grote sprongen te maken.Kleine stapjes zijn ook stapjes. 🖤En wie weet… misschien zal ik jullie op een dag toch nog verrassen.Maar voorlopig moet ik gaan.Ik denk namelijk dat mijn bordje leeg is.
