Wallace Surrey Adoption fee – £250 – 9 years old, neutered male – Mini long-haired Dachshund – silver dapple Wallace is a gentle, loyal boy looking for a new home due to a change in his owner’s personal circumstances and work commitments. He can be a little cautious when first getting to know people, but once he feels comfortable, he enjoys being close to them and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. At home, Wallace enjoys a calm environment where he can relax in his bed and spend time with his people. He is affectionate and has been used to living with a young child, although we are looking for a home with sensible children aged 10 or over. Out on walks, Wallace can be vocal on the lead and may bark at other dogs or unfamiliar situations. His new family will need to be willing to continue his training outside the home. Wallace is in good health and is currently fed a raw diet. He likes to choose where he sleeps, depending on how warm or cool it is but mostly in his own bed. Wallace is also crate trained. He currently lives with another dog and could share his new home with a suitable dog, subject to a successful meet. He does not like cats, so a cat-free home is required.
