He remains very cautious around strangers and prefers to retreat into his hut in new situations. He would rather be invisible in such situations. With people he knows, however, he shows a completely different side: He approaches them wagging his tail happily, enjoys gentle closeness, and is now problem-free when it comes to being touched and leashed. Wini is currently taking walks with his group, which gives him additional security. Outside, he shows himself to be calm and composed – traffic, joggers, or cyclists do not upset him. He also greets unfamiliar dogs kindly, albeit initially a bit reserved. His soft, fluffy fur requires regular care, which he allows from familiar people to a certain extent. We are practicing this with him. Whether he will develop a prey drive or enjoy water, we still cannot say. For Wini, we wish for a sensitive home that gives him time to build trust. Fremden Menschen gegenüber bleibt er noch sehr vorsichtig und zieht sich in neuen Situationen gern in seine Hütte zurück. Hier wäre er dann am liebsten unsichtbar. Bei Menschen, die er kennt, zeigt er jedoch eine ganz andere Seite: Er kommt fröhlich schwanzwedelnd auf sie zu, genießt vorsichtig Nähe und lässt sich mittlerweile problemlos anfassen und anleinen. Die Spaziergänge unternimmt Wini momentan gemeinsam mit seiner Gruppe, was ihm zusätzliche Sicherheit gibt. Draußen zeigt er sich ruhig und gelassen – Verkehr, Jogger oder Radfahrer bringen ihn nicht aus der Ruhe. Auch fremden Hunden begegnet er freundlich, wenn auch zunächst etwas zurückhaltend. Sein weiches, wuscheliges Fell braucht regelmäßige Pflege, die er bei vertrauten Personen bereits etwas zulässt. Wir üben das mit ihm. Ob er Jagdtrieb entwickeln wird oder Freude am Wasser hat, können wir noch nicht sagen. Für Wini wünschen wir uns ein einfühlsames Zuhause, das ihm Zeit gibt, Vertrauen aufzubauen.
