YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎

Mixed Breed · Male

I am Yuki, a 8-month-old mixed breed of Beauceron and Australian Shepherd. I weigh 33 kg and am already showing my personality. I am very close to my humans and very affectionate. I am also very sociable with new people and enjoy cuddles. I am house trained, know the household routines, and sleep quietly alone on the ground floor. I can also be left alone. I was difficult at first, but I have made a lot of progress and love things to chew and activities that allow my puppy teeth to work. I am always ready for adventures! I love walks, forest outings, have a good recall and focus on my humans. I am also comfortable in the car - getting in means a new adventure is coming. Cars, bicycles and everyday noises do not bother me. I have not spent much time in very urban environments, but the few experiences I have had have been good. I am very sociable with other dogs and enjoy meeting them, but I am also able to give up contact when my human asks me to, even when I am free. I also live near horses, with whom everything goes very well. My relationship with cats has not yet been sufficiently evaluated to be able to say anything. I have an important learning to pursue: frustration. When I want something, I have understood that barking is a good way to express my opinion. I learn quickly, this work will have to be continued with consistency and kindness. I am a big, happy teenager already capable of a lot of things. Of course, I still have a lot of work to do. At 8 months, it is quite normal! I will need a family that will continue my education, help me better manage my frustration and my excitement, and also teach me that sometimes doing nothing is part of life. But if you are looking for a big, funny, affectionate and determined baby... I think my 33 kg of love could really make you fall in love.

About YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎

What life with YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎ looks like

YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎ is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Association Ron'Rhône in Lyon.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Association Ron'Rhône handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Association Ron'Rhône will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Association Ron'Rhône early rather than rehoming privately; they know YUKI – 8 mois – ♂︎ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
