Alvia, La Voix des Animaux Zébra, female kitten, 6 months From cries of pain to purrs of joy. A few weeks ago, Zébra's fate took a horrifying turn. Struck by a vehicle and left for dead, this kitten was nothing but a small body crying out in pain, lying in a pool of blood, under the indifferent gaze of passersby. Thanks to a compassionate person and the volunteers of ALVIA La Voix des Animaux, Zébra was taken in for emergency care. The price of her survival was heavy: the amputation of a leg was unavoidable. But Zébra is a warrior. Today, she is living proof that strength is not measured by the number of limbs one has. Despite her disability, Zébra is a lively, sparkling kitten, a tireless little bundle of purrs. She has turned her trauma into an endless wellspring of love. Her temperament is a treasure: she gets along wonderfully with cats. She loves dogs. She is gentle and playful with children. Zébra has already won her battle for life. Now she is looking for the home that will recognize and cherish her enormous heart. She deserves a home where indifference will never have a place again. Open your heart to this little miracle! Adopting Zebra, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zebra?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Alvia La Voix Des Animaux handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zebra on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Zebra if I live in another country?

Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Alvia La Voix Des Animaux what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.

Is Zebra already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Alvia La Voix Des Animaux directly what is included and what Zebra still needs.

What happens if Zebra isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Alvia La Voix Des Animaux early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zebra and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
