Adopt Zsanin

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 8 months

Origin Country: Hungary On May 13, 2026, the quintet consisting of the charming dogs Zsanin, Jefte, Bogat, Csingiz, and Matea from the city of Jászkarajenő arrived at the animal shelter in Kecskemét. Unfortunately, there is no information about their past. They had been living on the streets there, and the mayor informed the Menhely. None of the dogs had a chip, and no one claimed them. We hope that the Menhely will only be a short stopover, and they will soon find their own people who will stick by them through thick and thin and never leave them. The five do not necessarily have to be rehomed together. Zsanin was initially a bit intimidated by her new situation, which is completely understandable. She has since warmed up and shows herself to be a happy, loving, and open female dog, even though new situations can still be a bit scary and unsettling. She needs support and security, but she will usually overcome any "obstacle." She is very attached to people, enjoys extensive cuddles, and when you engage with her, she is happy. She is a clever four-legged friend and with loving guidance will quickly understand the dog ABC. She wants to be mentally and physically engaged, and then she will develop into a great companion who will bring a lot of joy. Zsanin gets along well with her fellow animals and lives in a mixed pack. For our beloved Zsanin, we are looking for adventurous and loving people who will welcome Zsanin into their family forever and give her the time to settle in. She wants to go on adventures, enjoy long and varied walks, and be spoiled with many cuddles and cuddle hours. She would definitely make a great partner for jogging, hiking, cycling, or other sports activities, of course, adjusted to her age. She could also enjoy agility or similar "dog sports" and have a lot of fun. As long as the dog and person have a good time together. Zsanin is ready for any fun and any adventure and will bring a lot of love and joy into her new home. Who can be a faithful friend to Zsanin? At the moment, Zsanin is still too young for spaying, which her new owners will have to arrange when she is old enough. Zsanin will likely still grow a few more centimeters and gain a bit more weight. Zsanin can travel from around early/mid-July 2026 if she has found a home or foster home.

About Zsanin

What life with Zsanin looks like

Zsanin is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Zsanin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zsanin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zsanin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Zsanin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Zsanin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Zsanin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zsanin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
